I came into the world of miniatures in a somewhat roundabout way.  I had been working for a toy distributor for a number of years when they decided to add dollhouse kits to their line.  I offered to build a couple of models for display at the trade shows and that was the beginning of a new hobby for me.  The company continued to grow adding furniture and accessories and expanding their customer base to include dollhouse and miniature shops. After about 15 years of servicing the retail market I left the company and opened Petite Images in 1998.
